Sage & Caramelised Onion Stuffing
|The sage adds a lovely herb flavour to this simple stuffing recipe, and our Caramelised Onion Chutney brings in a hint of sweetness.|
2 x 400g packs of pork sausages
Small bunch of sage
1 jar Baxters Caramelised Onion Chutney
150g brown breadcrumbs
Salt & pepper
Baxters IngredientsCaramelised Onion Chutney
Remove sausage meat from the skins and place in a bowl.
Fry the sage leaves in butter until crispy then drain on kitchen paper.
Add the Caramelised Onion Chutney and breadcrumbs to the sausage meat.
Crumble the crispy sage into the mix, season and mix well.
Stuff into the neck end of the turkey then roll the rest into balls.
Add the balls to the turkey tray 30 minutes from being ready.
Alternatively pack the stuffing into a loaf tin and bake for 40 minutes alongside your turkey and then slice to serve.
