Main Accountabilities:
• Ensure compliance with company standards for Health, Safety, Environment and Quality
• Ensure all legal compliance obligations are met
• Deliver energy efficiency benefits across all utility platforms
• Create and deliver site infrastructure improvement plan in line with OP
• Manage the development of self and team including succession planning
• Manage the repair and maintenance budgets
• Deliver and maintain digital transformation initiatives
• Develop and drive a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring the engagement and
involvement of the entire team to deliver benefits across the Department
• Proactive problem solving by leading and supporting root cause analysis when production
escalations arise
• Implement corrective and preventive actions and ensure these are appropriately documented
and approved.
• Ensure critical spares are identified and managed
• Manage criticality and obsolescence strategies to reduce business risk
• Develop effective planned preventative maintenance strategies
• Collaborate with European Capex team to bring the 5 year Capex plan to life.
Person Specification:
Qualified at least to HND level in Engineering related subject.
5+ years’ experience in similar role
Strong understanding of the following engineering disciplines, Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatics,
Hydraulics and Control Systems
Specialist in at least one of the above engineering disciplines
Experience of Asset LifeCycle Management, OEE and Data Analysis Techniques
Resilient and adaptable in a fast paced operational environment
Experience managing engineering budgets
