Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Project Manager based at our Fochabers site to support the sites in the European Business Unit and the company’s growth ambitions by delivering successful projects through their full lifecycle within the Project Management Office, on time and in budget, through the stage gate process.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Project management of set projects throughout the year from concept to completion, leading cross functional teams for successful delivery.
  • Support the development of potential solutions to each project problem statement.
  • Ensure all reporting responsibilities are complete and accurate within recurring deadlines. (incl. spend forecasting, resource mapping and milestone plan updates)
  • Deliver weekly updates on project progress, wins, challenges, budget and maintain good communication with stakeholders relevant to each project.
  • Manage and escalate project risk appropriately, clearly and concisely to the PMO leadership.
  • Contribute improvement suggestions within the European Project Management team to better team/process/visibility/performance.
  • Develop genuine and mutually beneficial relationships with colleagues from across Operations, Technical, Supply Chain, NPD, Commercial (Sales and Marketing) and Finance communities.
  • Develop relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure partnerships are built and maintained.
  • Attend/lead/coordinate project meetings, issue minutes and ensure all agreed actions are implemented, utilising Baxters standard documents across all projects.
  • Raise capital business cases and present, as necessary, to European CAPEX Gatekeepers.

Person Specification

  • Proven experience managing projects within the food & drink industry (FMCG environment).
  • Proven ability to successfully deliver multiple projects concurrently within an entrepreneurial led organisation.
  • Highly organised individual
  • Able to work to varying levels of detail, dependant on stage of project life cycle.
  • Excellent interpersonal and soft skills across all functions and levels of the business and with third parties involved in project work.
  • Completer finisher attributes.
  • Ability to drive projects in a non-dictatorial manner – demonstrates clear ability to lead teams.
