If you like burgers you'll love this ultimate version topped with our red onion deli toppers for an extra bit of tang!
500g minced beef
100g caramelised onion
1g thyme leaves
Salt and pepper
- To serve
4 Brioche Buns
Sliced fresh tomato
Monterey Jack Cheese slices
Mix the minced meat with the onions and thyme and season. Mix well.
Form 4 separate 200g patties and shape. Chill for 30 minutes to set.
In a hot pan cook the burgers for 3 minutes on either side.
Place a slice of cheese on each burger and set aside.
Toast the brioche buns.
To assemble spread the mayo on the base of each bun. Layer up tomato, rocket, burger and cheese.
Layer on the Deli Toppers Red Onion.
If you haven’t got time for caramelised onions, simply chop up the Deli Toppers Red Onion Topper and use as an alternative.
