Principle Purpose:

Delivering all aspects of production compliance & on-the-job training, ensuring all record-keeping is accurate, up-to-date and audit ready in the appropriate location.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Work with the Training Manager and Production Management Team to identify training and development needs, creating appropriate training plans.
  • Provide the necessary training for all employees to reach the standards required by the company and its customers, including all compliance training, induction training, L2 Food Hygiene training, job-related procedures, SOPs and others
  • Induct, train and ensure new employees achieve the required ongoing standards in a timely fashion
  • Maintain adequate training records for auditing purposes including manual training files as well as training matrix and LMS where required.
  • Contribute to development of SOPs, training out to all production roles
  • Ensure all training activities reflect our Baxters values
  • Ensure compliance with customer Codes of Practice
  • Monitor training activities and ensure refresher training is carried out as required
  • Support, coach and develop Production Trainers to deliver effective on-the-job training
  • Contribute to internal and external audits as required

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience in a coaching, or (junior) management or training role
  • A clear and articulate communicator who role models our values and behaviours
  • Good presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Is willing to gain (if not already possessed) technical certification for example food safety and H & S training
  • Can plan ahead and is well organised
  • Has the ability to solve problems under their initiative
  • Has a can do attitude and keeps going when things are difficult
  • Confident and user of relevant software, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word
