Scotch Broth

Ever popular, it was a founding recipe from the Baxter family and remains one of our personal favourites. More than a broth, this classic recipe is a real meal of a soup; beef, mutton, potatoes and barley combine to create a rich and warming soup.

  • Serving suggestions & tips

Our Scotch Broth is a traditional recipe made with a mutton base and other good quality, simple ingredients. So we don’t recommend any fuss with this one, just a sprinkling of freshly chopped parsley and a slice of your favourite buttered bread.
