Baxters have been present in world export markets for nearly 50 years.  Mr Gordon Baxter personally visited many new market areas, selling product and making strong business relationships that are still active today, pioneering our early activities.

Our main focus markets are in Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, together with the Middle and Far Eastern areas.  We also have product representation in many other countries.  Where appropriate, we have a local importer and distributor acting on our behalf to ensure that the products relevant for the market are made available in retail shops.

The main products available in our export markets are Soups, Chutneys, Jams and Marmalades, with a number of countries also having the more specialist products such as Condiments and Christmas Sweet Mincemeat products. We aim to provide any market with interesting premium products that are acceptable to the consumer.  We work within all legal importation legislation for any market and ensure that all our products comply with the country's needs.

During late 2004 we made our first international business acquisition in Canada and very shortly will be producing Baxters Soups for the North American Market in country.
