Crêpes with Baxters Strawberry Conserve
Add a sweet, fruity taste of Scotland to this continental treat.
- Whisk the water, eggs and flour in a bowl until smooth. Allow the batter to rest at room temperature for 1 hour to thicken slightly.
- Heat a non-stick frying pan and add a little of the oil. Pour in a small ladleful of the batter and spread evenly.
- Cook for 30 seconds and then flip over for a further 10 seconds. Transfer to a warmed plate, cover with greaseproof paper and keep warm while you make the rest of the crêpes. Repeat the process until all the batter is used up.
- To serve, place the crêpes on a flat surface and spread each with 1 tbsp. of the Baxters Strawberry Conserve. Fold each crêpes into quarters and serve.
